Abstract

Aglymbus multistriatus n. sp. is described from material collected at light in the Kaffa province in Ethiopia. Elytron with eight or nine striae separates the new species from all other species of the genus. The Ethiopian Aglymbus are reviewed and certain aspects of the phylogeny of the genus are discussed. The genus now includes 22 species. © 1991 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
