Abstract

Every time the electrical power used is not always the same due to the use and power used by each customer or client is different. Fluctuations in the use of electric power have an impact on the costs incurred to pay electricity bills every month. This happened to the payment of the electricity bill at the Pesantren Sukorejo East Java. The payment prices that are made every month are uncertain depending on usage and there are also errors in estimating the budget. Because at this time there is still no exact method in making better predictions. So, from the data, it is important to do predictive analysis. The prediction of the cost of electricity bills aims to produce more accurate predictions which will be used as a guideline to find out and plan for future electricity costs, to minimize errors in budget planning. The dataset used is the time series primary dataset from January 2011 to December 2015. In this study using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. After several tests, by producing RMSE 0.090 performance with 1 second execution time. These results prove that the method with the ANN model can be used as a method to make predictions of payment of electricity bills more accurately.
