Depression alleviation effect of psychological intervention based on traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract

Depression is o common disease in modern people. This paper sums up the understanding of depression in traditional Chinese medicine (TCMj, and analyzes the features of depression treatments like psychological intervention. Next, 155 clinical cases ofCTM treatment of depression were collected, and the relevant data were analyzed in details. The results show that, the clinical symptoms of depression mainly include liver stagnation and blood stasis, kidney deficiency, as well as heart and spleen deficiency; psychological intervention is often combined with drug treatment and acupuncture, or with drug treatment alone, to treat depression; the two hybrid methods are also the most effective ones in the alleviation of depression symptoms. The research findings confirm the importance of TCM-based psychological intervention in depression treatment, and provide a guidance for clinical practice.
