Abstract

Listening from an active approach allows to work on musical elements from a conscious perspective, being the musical form a complex element to work on in the first years of Primary Education. Therefore, when listening to a musical piece, its structure cannot be perceived due to it happens in the course of time. The aim of this research is to analyse the perceptions of future teachers of the Double Degree in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education at the Institution 1 about the knowledge acquired and the assessment of the educational practice of The Musical Form through Active Listening. To this end, a programme evaluation was carried out using an ad hoc questionnaire, applied to a sample of 127 students. The results indicate that most of the students understand the concept of musical form and the basic types of forms, but feel less competent in recognising them. Good evaluations of the practice are obtained, where the use of learning landscapes stands out. It is concluded that it is necessary to generate educational practices that provide future teachers with tools to create musical didactic resources with a real application in the classroom.
