Abstract

Neutron activation (NAA) methods applied to the analysis of biological samples are reviewed. Methods covered include instrumental neutron activation (INAA), prompt gamma NAA(PGNAA), radiochemical NAA(RNAA) and pre-irradiation separation methods (CNAA). The use of epithermal neutrons, fast neutrons, and applications to in vivo studies are also discussed. © 1995 IUPAC
