Abstract
This study aims to develop MainteGO, a web-based preventive vehicle maintenance system designed to assist private vehicle owners, local government units, and car dealerships in managing scheduled maintenance activities. The motivation behind this study stems from the observed challenges vehicle owners face in tracking maintenance tasks, often leading to neglected services and costly repairs. The proposed system will offer automated reminders, booking functionalities, and user-friendly interfaces to streamline maintenance processes. Guided by the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), this research focuses on Cagayan de Oro City as its primary locale. As of this writing, the study is still ongoing, with Chapters 1 to 3 completed, which include the background of the study, review of related literature, and research methodology. Data collection and system development are currently underway. The final output is expected to contribute to more efficient vehicle maintenance management in both public and private sectors.
