Abstract

A Gesture Controlled Ground Vehicle (GCGV) Is A Semi-Autonomous Car Which Creates An Interface Between The Vehicle Location And The Operator (Who Operates It). An Operator From A Remote Location Can Get The Visual Information About The Surroundings To Control The GCGV By Gestures Which Creates A Virtual Environment For An Operator As He Is Driving The Vehicle. Additionally, An Obstacle Avoiding Sensor Is Also Attached To GCGV Which Helps In Detecting Obstacles By Sending Signals To The Operator. In This Paper, We Are Going To Propose How GCGV Can Be Manufactured And Used As The Best Substitute For Human Beings. The Proposed Vehicle Can Be Used In Various Areas Such As Military, Industries, Travel And Tourism, Agriculture, Transportation, Mining Etc.
