Abstract

This paper intends to propose an learning agent architecture based on Constructivist AI approach. First we show how Artificial Intelligence can incorporate some concepts from Jean Piaget's psychology to form Constructivist AI as a branch of Symbolic AI. Then we present details about the proposed architecture, discussing the provided agent autonomy. Eventually, we report experimental results. © 2004 Springer Science + Business Media, Inc.
