Abstract

The present international crisis suggests that the State springs back to its role and questions the supremacy of the market and its agents. It confirms the focus of some legal actions and government programs in the sake of public education in Brazil. This paper lists most laws on education to show that, together with the programs, they tend toward a larger presence of the State in the field of the right to education.
