Abstract

Major air pollution problems are discussed, with particular attention to the Indian context. Air quality for selected towns is shown in tabular form. Threshold limiting values of gaseous pollutants are also tabulated. Air pollution caused by textile mills and was of mitigating polluting emissions are discussed.
