Abstract

This article aims to describe the teachers' responses when students' problems are based on students' understanding. Data obtained from observations directly to the subject of research when responding to students who are making strategies to solve problems. The research subject was chosen based on the response given by the teacher so that students were able to make strategies to solve the problem. The results of this study are responses given by the teacher in the form of assistance to students so that students are able to make strategies to solve problems.
