The effects of pre-service adapted physical education teachers' creative teaching tools development and application class on academic interest and self-leadership

Abstract

Purpose: The object of this study was to examine the effects of creative teaching tools development and application class on academic interest and self-leadership of pre-service adapted physical education teachers. Method: In order to verify the effects of the class, academic interest and self-leadership test were carried out to both the experimental group and the control group twice, before and after the class. SPSS 20.0 program was applied to data processing and the data was analyzed by analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) to evaluate the differences in the results of the test before and after the class. Results: The participant of creative teaching tools development and application class improved in academic interest and self-leadership. Conclusion: According to the results of the study, it was proven that the class was effective in improving the academic interest and improving self-leadership level.
