Evaluasi Rasionalitas Penggunaan Obat Antihipertensi pada Pasien Prolanis di Puskesmas Kedungkandang Kota Malang Tahun 2022

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where blood vessels have high blood pressure (systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure ≥ 90 mmHg) that occurs constantly. Antihypertensive therapy is included in the chronic disease management program (prolanis). The rational use of drugs aims to make patients who receive therapy in accordance with the dose as well as the suitability of therapy time and affordable prices. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile and rationality of the use of antihypertensive drugs in patients with chronic disease management at the Kedungkandang Health Center, Malang City in 2022. This study is a descriptive observational type study using retrospective data. The study samples were 77 medical records of prolanis patients >60 years old who received antihypertensive therapy and were diagnosed with hypertension with or without comorbidities in the medical records of prolanis patients from January to December 2022, the rest were excluded. Data is presented in the form of diagrams or tables and percentages. The results of this study are antihypertensive drugs used include amlodipine (57.80%), kandesartan (15.77%), bisoprolol (11.44%), valsartan (3.71%), nifedipine (3.40%), hydrochlorothiazide (3.09%), captopril (2.94%), spironolactone (1.08%), imidapril (0.62%), furosemide (0.15%). The rationality of the right indication (100%), the right assessment of the patient's condition (96,9%), the right drug selection (91.5%), the right dose (97.5%), and the right time interval for administration (100%). The conclusion is that the percentage value of rationality for the use of antihypertensive drugs in prolanis patients is 97.2%..
