Abstract

The year under review is the fourth year of the military administration in Nigeria and the Federal Military Government was still engaged in suppressing the rebellion. The Federal forces continued in their drive to liberate the Eastern States. During the year, the Federal Military Government established the National Commission for Rehabilitation to undertake and co-ordinate relief operations in the war-affected areasl and the Lagos State Government set up Committee on Abandoned Properties to take possession of and maintain any abandoned property.2.
