Abstract

The research analyzes the role of graphic design in the production of podcasts, a sound product with remarkable repercussion today whose development includes an important presence of the image. Using content analysis as the methodological technique, this investigation makes a first approach to the graphic strategy of the own produced podcasts of the most popular platforms in Spain. The conclusions refer to the relevance of the particular visual identity of each program, the symbolic role of the image, the frequent graphic personalization of the chapters or the necessary versatility to adapt the message to the different formats.
