Types, presentations and management of conjunctivitis

Abstract

Conjunctivitis presents commonly in primary care and, though usually self‐limiting, early identification with optimal treatment is important to avoid complications. Here, the author describes the clinical features of the different types and their recommended management, followed by a prescription review and sources of further information.
