Pengaruh bokashi ampas kelapa terhadap hasil panen tanaman pakcoy

Abstract

Coconut dregs are leftovers from coconuts that have been extracted. So far, coconut dregs is thrown away, even though coconut pulp has the potential to be used as bokashi because it contains nutrients that can increase plant growth. So it needs to be used as bokashi to be applied to plants, namely pakcoy. Pakcoy is a vegetable plant that is favored by many people, but in Kalimantan its productivity is still low due to low soil fertility, so fertilization is necessary to improve soil fertility in order to increase crop yields. This study aims to determine the effect and dose of the best coconut dregs bokashi treatment on the yield of pakcoy plants. This research was conducted from January to March 2022 at the Greenhouse Experimental Garden, Department of Agroecotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely coconut dregs bokashi which consisted of 4 treatments, namely p0 = control (without giving coconut dregs bokashi), p1 = 25 gram polybag-1, p2 = 50 grams polybag-1, and p3 = 75 grams polybag- 1. Each treatment consisted of 5 repetitions so that there were 20 experimental units. Giving coconut dregs bokashi had a very significant effect on plant height at 21 and 28 days after planting, and the number of leaves had a significant effect on 21 and 28 days after planting. The fresh weight parameter shows a significant effect. The best dose of coconut dregs bokashi is p3=75 gram polybag-1.
