Abstract

Aquaculture worldwide is one of the main productive activities, representing a great source of food and work for society in general, which is why it is important to be constantly monitoring those elements that help the health, growth and quality of aquatic species, regardless of the specific aquaculture system used, one of these being water quality. For this reason it is necessary to provide or have a solution that allows the digitization or automation of real-time monitoring of the environmental parameters involved in the development of these species and at the same time facilitates small and medium producers to have or obtain a technological solution with lower technological investments. In this work we present the design of a water quality monitoring system, light and low cost, with the possibility of managing different sensors using IoT tools and technologies, for communication through TCP/IP and collection and storage in a NoSQL database.
