Abstract

The possibilities offered by the development of artificial intelligence and the management of macro data (big data) are enormous. Its applications also extended to the healthcare field where it is difficult to separate medical practice and the growing process of digitalization. However, not everything is light in the new algorithmic universe. There is also another barely perceptible side, opaquer, but impregnated with mists from the interests and expectations of large multinational companies. Hence the need to influence measures for the protection of personal health data, as well as the safeguarding of patient privacy, bearing in mind that the defense and protection of fundamental rights constitutes at all times an unequivocal instrument of limitation of power, in this case, techno scientific.
