Abstract

This chapter is organized around the structure proposed in Huta and Waterman ( 2014 ), which reviewed defi nitions of eudaimonia and hedonia used in psychology research. In performing the review, we realized that the defi nitions of differ- ent researchers fell into four somewhat distinct defi nition categories , and that fi ndings with mea- sures from the same given category were more similar than fi ndings with measures from differ- ent categories.
