Abstract

It is education that takes society on the path of progress and enriches it. Such education plays a very important role in societal needs and change. Therefore, changes in education are made in the interest of society. People have known since ancient times that education is not for imparting knowledge, but the real purpose of education should be to teach a man higher quality and make him a better man. Education and teaching methods have also changed as education in Tolkapiyam, education in the Sangam era, education in the Gurukulam era, education in the Pallavar era, education in the Nayakkar era, education that was imparted in porches, education in the British era, today's education, computer-based education, professional education, distance education, technical education, and online education. Learned people are always held in high esteem and respect in society.
