Abstract

Constraints on completeness of the deep sea stratigraphic record, the importance of pre-Jurassic carbonate deposition in deep oceanic basins, and relationships between reservoir cycling rate and tectonic setting are but three long-term manifestations of partitioning among Phanerozoic reservoirs and the ongoing transfer of carbonate from shallow continental to deep oceanic settings. -from Authors
