Abstract

In this work we develop preconditioners for the iterative solution of the large scale algebraic systems, arising in finite element discretizations of microstructures with an arbitrary number of components, described by the diffusive interface model. The suggested numerical techniques are applied to the study of ternary fluid flow processes. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
