Abstract

The origins and development of The American Society of Breast Surgeons are closely tied to technology. Innovative technical progress means less-invasive procedures, more precise diagnoses, more outpatient services, and - with all of this - less pain and stress for our patients. It means more compassionate breast care for women. The Society's mission revolves around improving all aspects of patient care, and this is where technology and compassion meet. © 2004 Excerpta Medica Inc. All rights reserved.
