Abstract
This work aim to show by literature review the principal characteristics of morphogenetic proteins, in special of the rhBMP-2, with the major osteoinductive properties, presented in the prime works count from it discovery until actually, showing the most varieties and applications of this protein. © 2007 Sociedad Chilena de Anatomía.
