Abstract

The exact two-soliton solution of the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equationu is decomposed into a \emph{simple sum} u_1+u_2, which can beregarded as \emph{attractive} scattering of two single solitonsaccording to this decomposition. Each u_i satisfies corresponding\emph{Interacting KdV} equation which is physically natural extensionof the original KdV equation.
