Abstract

A phytochemical investigation of the BuOH-soluble fraction of the EtOH extract from the stems of Glycosmis pentaphylla resulted in the isolation of three new phenolic glycosides, glycopentosides D-F (1-3, resp.). Their structures were determined by using spectroscopic analysis including UV, 1 H- and 13 C-NMR, DEPT, COSY, ROESY, HMBC, HSQC, HR-ESI-MS, and acid hydrolysis.
