Learning landscape analysis as a tool for teacher training in flexible online learning environments

Abstract

Flexibility of learning has become an essential resource to promote the active and autonomous role of the learner in the acquisition of skills. In this sense, learning landscapes visually integrate personalised learning pathways, facilitating the development of competences and attention to diversity. This research shows the evaluation of a learning landscape that aims to make teaching more flexible in order to achieve the development of teaching competences and an improvement in the motivation of students in the Master's Degree in Teacher Training at an online university. From the comparison between the results of a pretest-postest analysis, it is observed that there is an improvement in the learning and application of the concepts analysed, with special impact on those that have been worked on in a more specific way through the learning landscape. On the other hand, a questionnaire was used to assess the students' satisfaction with the activity developed through which it is concluded that the landscape has been motivating for those who have participated in it.
