PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN PROBIOTIK HERYAKI DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP PERFORMA PRODUKSI DAN KOLESTEROL TELUR PUYUH PADJADJARAN

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the effect for adding Heryaki probiotic on production performance and egg cholesterol level of Padjadjaran quail. Research was done experimentally and completely randomized with six treatments four replications, each replication had seven quails. Treatments were P0 = 100% full ration without adding probiotic, P1 = 100% full ration + 0.1% probiotic, P2 = 100% full ration + 0.2% probiotic, P3 = 80% of full ration without adding probiotic, P4 = 80% of full ration + 0.1% probiotic, P5 = 80% of full ration + 0.2% probiotic. Variables that measured were production performances (consumption, Quail Day Production, FCR) and egg cholesterol. Results showed it can be concluded that adding 0.1% Heryaki probiotic in 100% full ration gave the best effect for production performances, but were not significantly to the egg cholesterol.
