Abstract

Based on the World Health Organization (WHO) report, 1.25 million people die and more than 30 million are injured or disabled due to traffic accidents every year. WHO has also published that death due to traffic accidents is one of the non-communicable diseases with the highest number of deaths and is estimated to be the 5th leading cause of death in the world.
