Abstract

This study aimed to determine the resistance of cocoa plants to clone 45, clone M01 and clone M06 against stem cancer of Phytopthora palmivora. This research was carried out on community-owned cocoa plantations in Cendana Hijau Village, Burau District, East Luwu Regency and at the Pest and Plant Disease Laboratory, Muslim University of Indonesia. which starts from June to August 2021.. This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) model using 3 different clones, namely clone 45, clone M01, and clone M06. The cacao clones tested consisted of 9 pieces in 1 clone which had been repeated 3 times so that the total number of pods examined was 27. The results showed that the second 45 fruit clones showed the best treatment for the parameters of fruit rot length, fruit rot width and fruit rot area, respectively 15.70 mm, 13.07 mm and 45.18 mm based on analysis by analysis of variance. based on F test 5%.
