Chaotic Image Encryption Technique using S-box based on DNA Approach

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn recent years many DNA approach based encryption algorithms have been suggested but many of them are vulnerable to attacks or have slow execution time. Recently DNA Index based techniques have also been suggested.In this paper a new image encryption is proposed which is effective and has improved execution time compared to index based symmetric cryptographic algorithms having DNA approach. The algorithm presented in the paper is an integrated approach coupling the power of S-Box"s and the two dimensional logistic map. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is reasonably secure and faster in run time compared to indexed based approach.
