Abstract

Cardiovascular diseases are the cause of high numbers of deaths in Europe, notably in women. Studies highlight the benefit of introducing soy-based foods into a diet aimed at reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, soy seems to be particularly beneficial for women at the beginning of the menopause. © 2013 Elsevier Masson SAS.
