Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of palm sugar and honey consumption on increasing cardiorespiratory endurance of SSB Enam Lingkung players, (2) compare the effectiveness of palm sugar and honey in increasing cardiorespiratory endurance, and (3) determine whether there is an interaction between the administration of palm sugar and honey in influencing the level of endurance of players. This study used an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. The results of the study showed that: The administration of palm sugar and honey had a significant effect on increasing cardiorespiratory endurance of soccer players, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. No significant difference was found between the effect of palm sugar and honey in increasing cardiorespiratory endurance, with a significance value of 0.947 > 0.05. No significant interaction was found between the administration of palm sugar and honey in increasing cardiorespiratory endurance, as indicated by a significance value of 0.674 > 0.05
