Abstract
A 68-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of a chest x-ray abnormality. Chest CT scan and MRI revealed a tumor 7 cm in diameter on the right lower lobe. As the possibility of malignant tumor could not be ruled out, a right lower lobectomy was performed. Immunohistochemically, he was diagnosed with large cell carcinoma of the lung with rhabdoid pheno-type and due to its aggressive recurrence, he died 22 months after operation. Early diagnosis and decision on therapy is very important because of the aggressive clinical course of this cancer.
