Abstract

The article discusses the main components, architecture and protocols of SCADA systems, ensuring the security of SCADA systems, as well as trends in relation to their reliability and security, which are used in teaching senior students of the APCS discipline. An analysis is made of the already existing basic concepts and methods of SCADA, used by the authors of modern textbooks when presenting the discipline. The key directions of their use in teaching students are demonstrated. The factors influencing the assessment of the possibility of successful application of a specific SCADA system in the creation of automated dispatching control and management systems of the software have been established.
