Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe and interpret oral literature and tourist destinations in SambasRegency. The method used is descriptive, with a qualitative form of research. The approachused is a literary tourism approach. The data source of this research results from interviews,with research data in the form of literary texts and information about tourist destinations andoral literature. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviewing, recording,recording, translation, transcription, and editing. The validity testing used is in-depthobservation, method triangulation, and referential adequacy. The results are in theform of information about oral literature related to tourist destinations. The existence oforal literature related to tourist destinations in Sambas Regency is influenced by storytellers,storytelling opportunities, storytelling purposes, and the story’s relationship with theenvironment. The condition of tourist destination facilities and infrastructure related to oralliterature in the Sambas Regency is still inadequate. The contribution from thegovernment, the private sector, and the community for tourist destinations that have aconnection with oral literature in Sambas District is still lacking. The results of this studywere implemented into the Lesson Plan for the 2013 curriculum for Class X Senior HighSchool.Keywords: Oral Literature, Sambas Regency, Tourism Destinations.
