Abstract

This paper presents a value propagation model and redefines the notion of diagnosis. On the basis of the value propagation model, an algorithm for finding a minimal diagnosis is proposed. This algorithm need not compute the minimal conflicts and provides a reasonable interpretation for the minimal diagnosis. In addition, we present a method for repairing the faulty system by integrating diagnoses and test. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
