Abstract

The present research article aims to share the lessons learned and experiences of innovation management in women-led companies in the leather and footwear sector in the Arequipa Region, under the focus of Business Innovation and Social Innovation. These experiences were compiled through the different programs organized and taught by the Center for Productive Innovation and Technology Transfer for the Leather and Footwear Sector of Arequipa Peru. The positive impact of the programs is shown through qualitative information, we believe the implementation of this work can be replicated as a management tool in other productive sectors.
