SISTEM NILAI SOSIOKULTURAL MASYARAKAT BUGIS DALAM NOVEL SIRI’ KARYA ASMAYANI KUSRINI

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the sociocultural value system of the Bugis society in the novel Siri' by Asmayani Kusrini. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research is a document in the form of the novel Siri' by Asmayani Kusrini and the data is in the form of the sociocultural value system of the Bugis society which is reflected through quotations in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences in the novel Siri' by Asmayani Kusrini. The results of this study indicate that the sociocultural value system of the Bugis society which describes the defense of self-esteem and human dignity is manifested in the following value systems: 1) defense of a father's dignity in the eyes of society, 2) defense of self-esteem from family members, 3) defense of a father's dignity. , and 4) the defense of the dignity of the family in society. The results of this study are referred to as an implementation plan for learning Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum at the XI high school level.Keywords: Socio-Cultural Value System, Bugis Society, Novel
