In conducting competition and business development, modern retailers continue to innovate. One of these innovations is tebus murah (cheap sale promo). Cheap sale promo can be obtained by consumers by buying sponsored products at a minimum price or quantity. This promo is a new promo for the community so research needs to be carried out. This study aims to determine the law of cheap sale promo that exist in modern retail. This study uses an empirical juridical method with the nature of legal identification. This study found that the cheap sale promo is in accordance with sharia principles. The cheap sale promo scheme is not included in the multi-contract scheme which is prohibited by sharia. Things that need to be considered in conducting a cheap sale promo are the types of product, additional terms and conditions, as well as the pricing of sponsored products.
