Komunikasi Budaya dalam Pendampingan Penyintas Kekerasan Seksual terhadap Perempuan

Abstract

This research explores the role of the Indonesian Women's Coalition (KPI) in assisting victims of sexual violence in the West Java region with an emphasis on cultural communication. Through qualitative research methods with interviews as the main technique, the results and discussion show that the role of KPI assistants includes legal, psychological and emotional aspects, faced with various internal and external challenges. The conclusion confirms that the success of assistance involves aspects such as efforts to speak out and restore victims, while great hope lies in the passing of the Draft Law on the Protection of Victims of Sexual Violence (RUU PKS) as a concrete step to increase the protection and rights of women in Indonesia
