Abstract

Eleven species of Upogebiidae from New Guinea, New Caledonia, Kenya, Madagascar, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam have been studied Four are new: Gebiacantha multispinosa, G lifuensis, Upogebia sakari and U. spinirnanus The seven additional species include: Gebiacantha laurentae Ngoc-Ho, Upogebia narutensis Sakai, U pugnax de Man, U savignyi (Strabl), U. wuhsienweni Yu, Wolffogebia inermis Sakai, W phuketensis Sakai Crustacea, Thalasslnidea, Upogebirdae, new species, Indo-Pacifc, taxonomy
