Abstract

© Prodi Fisika Jurusan Fisika 2023 51 resulting in a percentage of DC more dominant than CLVD, which indicates both earthquakes are caused by tectonic activity. Then the VR value is 85.64% and 72.05%, respectively, which can be said to be reliable because it is above 50%, and also a map of the nearest seismic station that records earthquake events. In addition, the value of the focal mechanism (strike, dip, rake) is represented by a beachball image which produces a type of reverse fault, in accordance with the type of fault around the Banten area. The results obtained are then quantitatively justified with Global CMT teleseismic data, the difference between the two is calculated using Kagan angles of 5.65° and 7.99° which can be said to be accurate because it is less than 60°.
