Abstract

At the starting point of timber traceability, RFID chip tags were embedded in logs, and transportation, storage, processing into timber, artificial drying and individual identification of timber could be completed without interruption. It was confirmed that the annual ring image could be identified. By using these two methods together, it was possible to eliminate unauthorized use of RFID chip tags.It was confirmed that all RFID chip tags survived at high temperature of 120 °C.
