Abstract

An essay is presented about the shortage of veterinarians in the rural areas of Kansas. It offers information on the nature of veterinarian shortages experienced by the stated and the reasons of its difficulty in attracting new veterinary graduates. Moreover, it mentions ways of arousing the interests of veterinary students on rural veterinary practice.
