Abstract

This special report reviews method-comparison studies done on assays for immunoglobulins. The methods compared are radial immunodiffusion, nephelometry, turbidimetry, and immunofluorometric assays. Discrepancies among various method-comparison studies are considered in the context of problems in standardization of immunoglobulin measurements.
