Abstract

this article traces the multi sources of violences and conflicts in Southern Highlands Province. Many mining and exploitation projects make SHP one of the richest province in PNG. However, unequal access to public services, corruptions, ethnic tension, and unrealistic expectation cause conflicts between ethnic groups and regions.
