Abstract

African American patients with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia receiving care at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Duke University Medical Center more commonly presented with poor-risk biological features and had worse survival. These results provide additional clinical details to understand the nature of racial disparities in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Copyright © 2013 American Cancer Society.
