Abstract
Abstract. The zoning system in schools is a student admission system that has only been implemented in the last few years in Indonesia, especially in Lebak Regency, Banten. In this study describes matters relating to the problem and implementation of new student admissions (PPDB) with the zoning system at SMAN Kabaupaten Lebak, Banten. This research uses a case approach approach, with objects 3 SMAN in Lebak Regency, through documentation, interviews, and observations. Data analysis through data reduction, then data display, conclusions and levers. The results of the research related to the problems of New Student Admission (PPDB) zoning system at SMAN Lebak Regency, Banten are a) Technical implementation of PPDB invites various ideas and chaos; b) the availability of public schools is still not evenly distributed; c) policies that prioritize the distance between school and students' homes; d) there are views from the general public about superior and non-superior schools; e) Coordination between institutions related to the PPDB zoning system has not been effective. The implementation of the New Student Admissions (PPDB) zoning system in high school schools in Lebak Regency, Banten has been successfully carried out for the past few years until now the new school year, in the distribution of education, although there are many obstacles and problems that exist, but it does not deny the existence of a zoning system during PPDB at SMA Negeri Kanupaten Lebak, Banten.Keywords: Problematics, PPDB, Zoning System
